Even the Woz Thinks That Apple Should Open Siri to Third-Party Apps [Video]

Despite Siri still being in beta, Steve Woziak, co-founder of Apple, has chalked up a way that it will be able to talk with the apps on your iDevice through AppleScript, a scripting language built into OS X. Wozniak thinks that thanks to AppleScript’s ability to talk directly to apps, you’ll be able to say, for example, “Foursquare”, and everything you say after that will go straight to the Foursquare app. Will we see this functionality in iOS 7? Probably not, especially if Siri is still in beta by the time it’s released.
